Eric Beecher is the founder of Sol Power. He graduated from MIT in 2010 with dual degrees in mechanical engineering and business. After working as an engineer in the automotive sensor industry, Eric decided that it was time to follow his true passions: employee owned business and saving the environment.
Tyler Mason has been installing solar for 9 years. He is a NABCEP certified PV installer (#092411-104) and brings the technical expertise and hands on experience to Sol Power. He’s installed over 400 residential systems on many different types of roofing surfaces and façades. Tyler has experience with a wide array of technologies which allows us to offer options to our customers including micro inverters, optimizers, string inverters, and backup power options.
Mauricio Merida has been doing electrical work for 21 years. He is our full time RI master electrician license A-004053 which is associated with Sol Power, LLC. Mauricio is a key team member of our installation crew consisting of four licensed RI electricians. He runs our electrical apprenticeship and training programs and he is a rare electrician who is willing to work on a roof.
Josh Mason primarily works on our sales and operations, but you might even see him at your installation. He knows the entire solar process from start to finish and has worked in all areas of our business. You're likely to encounter him if you enjoy sports, indoor or outdoor in RI.
Javier Rico has worked in the construction field for over twenty years developing and renovating real estate. He received his AS in Architectural Engineering and a BS in Construction Management, with concentration in renewables technology, from New England Institute of Technology in 2009. He went on to work for RISE Engineering as an Energy Auditor and joined Sol Power’s Sales and Operation team in 2015.
